Vespa’s stretch scooter

You can see some more such interesting product as Pacman Car or you also like the Car with Gullwing doors . I hope that the middle portion too is that much of strong to carry a big fat man in between but apart from that, this is one desirable scooty which no one can resist but sadly Vespa has no plans of offering this one for sale as just using it for promotional purpose even though its fully functional machine but who knows, anything can happen in future, just hope for the best. This has made stretch limousine go out of fashion because I bet that if this stretch scooter and a limousines are standing beside each other, people will surely have their eyes glued on this beyond imaginary scooter which is better than a family car.

This one is the perfect family ride for those who have some financial problem but want to own a vehicle which will not only provide them the attraction of the crowd but will give their family a comfortable and wonderful ride. Here is the Vespa South Africa’s Stretch Scooter which has stretched beyond everyone’s imagination. Being the world’s fourth largest two wheeler manufacturing company and deriving its name from an wasp in Latin and Italian, Vespa has come a long way from its first 1946 model of 98cc to creating one of the stylish and bestperformance with looks scooters and this time they have stunned the world by making this Stretch Vespa 4 seater one of a kind bike which no one would have dreamt of.

yamaha zuma 125

It doesn't crank over until you let it cool When this happens, the scooter doesn't respond when you press the start button. Sometimes when you go for a long ride on a hot day, the fuel pump will get too hot and if you shut off the scooter and try to restart it, then the fuel pump won't operate. One known issue with the Z125 that is possibility related to inadequate cooling, is that the fuel pump can cease to function when it gets too hot. There are some advantage to air cooling (simplicity, light weight) but I still prefer the steady temperatures that liquid cooling ensures.

This is a curious decision because Yamaha has recently added liquid cooling to their two 4-stroke 50cc models. The fuel injection and 4-valves are downright cutting edge (in engines this small), but strangely Yamaha opted to skip the liquid cooling and instead keep the temperatures under control with a fan. What’s interesting about this new engine is that it’s an odd blend of new and old tech. It wouldn’t surprise me to see the Vino 125 get a short case version of this engine soon.

The Vino 125 now lags this scooter in power, fuel economy and ease of starting. These engines are entirely different. The new engine is supposedly quite a bit faster than the 125cc engine Yamaha is still using in the Vino 125. It’s got decent storage under the seat (5.5 gallons), rugged looks and a new fuel injected, 4-valve engine.

The YW125 seems to be one awesome scooter. The initial response has been quite popular with BWs/Zuma fans, new scooter buyers and even Honda Ruckus fans who have been clamoring for a 125-150cc version of that scooter for some time. For 2009, Yamaha responded to enthusiasts cries to design a larger version of the popular BWs / Zuma scooter.

Motor Scooter Buyers Guide

So what's all the buzz about motor scooters in the news? Motor scooter sales are skyrocketing as consumers struggle to deal with rising fuel costs. In the past 5 years we've seen gas prices almost double and many drivers believe they have no other choice but to pay the high cost in order to get to work. Resourceful drivers have been searching for ways to reduce their fuel costs and this had lead to the increase in motor scooter sales.

Gone are the days of underpowered little scooters that had little use other than being a fun toy. Manufacturers are listening to consumers and building motor scooters that you can drive just about anywhere that you would drive a car. Small motor scooters with 50cc engines are still available and are still selling well, but newer, larger motor scooters are all the rage. With engines over 100cc's and features such as windshields, radios and larger tires, these new generation motor scooters are giving consumers new options when it comes to personal transportation.

Here's a few things that you need to look for when buying a Motor Scooter:

Engine Size

Engine size quite possibly the most important factor in deciding on a motor scooter as this will dictate where you will ride your new scooter. If you buy a small motor scooter with an engine size below 100cc, then you will want to stay away from highways and in many areas may be prohibited from driving on the highway. If you plan to use your motor scooter on major highways, you will want a model above 100cc, and possibly as large as your budget will allow. The larger the engine, generally the faster it will go. If you don't want the feeling of not having enough power, go for the larger engine sizes.

Features

This again will depend on what you plan to do with your motor scooter. If you plan to spend a lot of time driving your scooter, opt for a model that comes with a decent amount of storage, an advanced suspension system, larger tires, a radio and a windshield. Also, make sure that the seat is shaped properly for your body type and that it provides you with enough support for a long trip.

Cost

Usually cost is one of the most important factors in choosing the right motor scooter for you. If you just want a cheap motor scooter that will get you from point A to point B, an off-shore model will likely suit you well. Models made in China are available on the internet for less than $1000 and are made for the truly budget conscious consumer. If you have a little more money to spend, opt for a more mainstream model such as a Vespa, Honda or Yamaha. Lastly, if you want "the mother of all scooters", you can easily spend over $5000 and get a Suzuki Burgman. These big boys are about the size of a regular motorcycle but offer the uniqueness of being a motor scooter.

How Long Will You Keep It?

The last factor to think about is the length of time you plan on keeping your motor scooter. If you are planning on keeping it for a number of years and want it to last, with the ability to drive thousands of miles, opt for a larger engine model. Larger engines will be better suited for high mileage, whereas a small, cheap motor scooter would be better suited to occasional driving or a specified time period. Many students purchase motor scooters as a reliable and economical vehicle to drive during the summer months and a small, 50cc model would be well suited for this purpose. Brand is also a consideration in determining the quality of a motor scooter. You will note that there are many motor scooters still on the road that were built in the 70's & 80's and they're still going strong. Just like anything else, if you maintain it properly, it will last much longer.

I hope that I have provided you with a number of things to think about before heading out to purchase a motor scooter.

Electric Scooters - A Great Gift For Kids And Adults

Scooters have been around for years, but the relatively recent craze for electric scooters has made them extremely commonplace. Walk around any large city and you will probably see adults in suits scooting to work. Visit any urban street and kids zip around on their eZip scooters, performing stunts and tricks.

Once considered a toy for kids, electric scooters have come of age. Companies like Razor and Currie Technologies ( the producer of the eZip range), have manufactured battery powered scooters for the whole age range. For teens and adults, there are scooters that have a 15 mph to speed, and a 12 mile range on a single charge. With slick street tyres and smooth twist grip throttles, these scooters are a viable alternative to car use. Folding handlebars allow them to be stored easily, or even taken on public transport. Many people get the bus or train to town, and then commute the rest of the way on their scooter.

With environmental issues being at the forefront of our society, the need for low cost, alternative transport technologies is very real. The urban scooter manufacturers have seen a niche that needs to be filled, and they are filling it with ease.

And these scooters are not going to break the bank. Retailing for a few hundred dollars for a 1000 watt, 36 volt eZip 1000, the payback time could be quite rapid if you use it regularly.

One of the important considerations is charging. An 8-12 hour charge is required for most of the scooters, and if you are traveling say, miles to work and back, you are going to need a charging facility in the workplace. The chargers are small, you just need to get your employer to give you and other staff some space and a socket to plug into.

Get that sorted, and you are ready to go, with effective eco transport that doesn't cost the earth........but SAVES IT.

Considering the ongoing rises in gas prices, the cost of vehicle maintenance and running two cars, the ability to have a small, nippy electric scooter tucked away in the cupboard is a great asset. Regarding protective equipment, it is recommended that the rider wears a helmet and even some protective pads. Although not super quick, there is still the chance of a mishap.
